On page 4, after line 5, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 6. If specific funding for the purposes of sections 3 and 4 of this act, referencing sections 3 and 4 of this act by bill or chapter number and section number, is not provided by June 30, 2026, in the omnibus appropriations act, sections 3 and 4 of this act are null and void."

EFFECT: (1) Makes requirements for the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) to update a web-based location with links to recommended practices and resources related to digital citizenship, media literacy, and internet safety null and void unless funded in the budget.

(2) Makes requirements for an OSPI report to the Legislature on policies and procedures for limiting student use of mobile devices in public schools null and void unless funded in the budget.
