On page 2, after line 30, insert the following:

"(4) When transitioning individuals impacted by the closure required in subsection (1) of this section, the department must ensure that any resident who is employed or engaged in employment services is provided equivalent opportunities for work or employment services in their new placement."

EFFECT: Requires the Department of Social and Health Services, when transitioning residents from the Rainier School residential habilitation center to other placements, to ensure that residents who are employed or engaged in employment services at the Rainier school are provided equivalent opportunities for work

or employment services in their new placement.
