On page 2, line 14, after "(2)" strike "and (3)" and insert "through (4)"
On page 2, after line 30, insert the following:
"(4) When transitioning individuals impacted by the closure required in subsection (1) of this section, the department shall coordinate closely with other state agencies, local entities, health care providers, and community stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions. For purposes of this subsection, close coordination requires written approval from all relevant state agencies, local entities, health care providers, and community stakeholders that written, seamless transition plans are in place for all residents and employees."
| EFFECT: Requires that the Department of Social and Health Services closely coordinate with other state agencies, local entities, health care providers, and community stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions when transitioning residents out of the Rainier School and specifies that close coordination requires written approval from each of those agencies, entities, providers, and stakeholders that written seamless transition plans are in place for all residents and employees. |
