On page 3, after line 21 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

"(8) The provisions of subsection (1) of this section do not apply to purchases of single-family residential properties with binding purchase agreements executed prior to the effective date of this section."

EFFECT: Exempts from the ownership limits any purchases of single-family residential properties with binding purchase agreements executed prior to the effective date of the ownership limits.
