On page 4, line 11 of the striking amendment, after "(ii)" strike "Consistent" and insert "(A) Except as provided in (b)(ii)(B) of this subsection, and consistent"

On page 4, after line 21 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

"(B) The attorney general may not provide copies of documentary material, answers to written interrogatories, or transcripts of oral testimony to any state, local, or federal law enforcement agency, or to any person or entity for purposes of any criminal law enforcement investigation."

EFFECT: Prohibits the Attorney General from providing documentary material and other information obtained pursuant to a civil investigative demand to any state, local, or federal law enforcement agency or to any person or entity for purposes of a criminal law enforcement investigation.
