On page 5, line 28 of the striking amendment, after "statutes." insert the following:

"(12) This section does not apply to any private membership-based organization or association, including, but not limited to, fraternal or benevolent organizations or associations."

EFFECT: Exempts any private membership-based organization or association, including fraternal or benevolent organizations and associations, from being issued a civil investigative demand.
