On page 5, line 28 of the striking amendment, after "statutes." insert the following:
"(12) This section does not apply to any hospital licensed under chapter 70.41 or 71.12 RCW or to any health care provider as defined in RCW 48.43.005."

EFFECT: Exempts hospitals and health care providers from being issued a civil investigative demand.
