On page 5, line 28 of the striking amendment, after "statutes." insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. A new section is added to chapter 43.10 RCW to read as follows:

Legislative privilege does not apply to internal deliberations concerning this act. Internal deliberations include, but are not limited to, preliminary drafts, notes, recommendations, and internal and interbranch communication in which opinions are expressed or policies formulated or recommended."

EFFECT: Provides that legislative privilege does not apply to internal deliberations about the act. Provides that internal deliberations include drafts, notes, recommendations, and internal and interbranch communications that express opinions or formulate or recommend policies.
