On page 5, line 26 of the striking amendment, after "(11)" insert "The attorney general's office shall fully reimburse all costs, including staff time, incurred by any person or entity in responding to and complying with a civil investigative demand issued under this section if the investigation does not result in a judgement or settlement in favor of the attorney general, or other resolution of the investigation that materially advances the identified purpose for issuance of the civil investigative demand.

EFFECT: Requires the Attorney General's Office to reimburse a person or entity for any costs incurred in responding to and complying with a civil investigative demand if the investigation does not result in a judgment or settlement in favor of the Attorney General's Office, or other resolution that materially advances the purpose for issuance of the demand.
