On page 7, line 26, increase the general fund-state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 by $23,178
On page 7, line 36, correct the total.
On page 11, after line 35, insert the following:
"(18) $23,178 of the general fund-state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 is provided solely for implementation of House Bill No. 1092 (children/controlled sub.) to ensure that children facing abuse, severe neglect, serious physical harm, or exposure to high-potency synthetic opioids or other illicit substances are removed from dangerous environments. If this bill is not enacted by June 30, 2026, the amounts provided in this subsection shall lapse."
On page 27, line 22, increase the legal services revolving account-state appropriation by $1,012,000
On page 27, line 29, correct the total.
On page 35, after line 13, insert the following:
"(34) $1,012,000 of the legal services revolving account-state appropriation is provided solely for implementation of House Bill No. 1092 (children/controlled sub.) to ensure that children facing abuse, severe neglect, serious physical harm, or exposure to high-potency synthetic opioids or other illicit substances are removed from dangerous environments. On page 326, after line 13, insert the following:
"(30) $4,672,000 of the general fund-state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 and $1,230,000 of the general fund-federal appropriation are provided solely for implementation of House Bill No. 1092 (children/controlled sub.) to ensure that children facing abuse, severe neglect, serious physical harm, or exposure to high-potency synthetic opioids or other illicit substances are removed from dangerous environments. | EFFECT: Increases ongoing funding in the Administrative Office of the Courts, the Office of Attorney General, and the Department of Children, Youth, and Families Children and Families Services program for the implementation of House Bill No. 1092 (children/controlled sub.).
FISCAL IMPACT: Increases General Fund - State by $4,695,178. Increases General Fund - Federal by $1,230,000.
FOUR-YEAR OUTLOOK EXPENDITURE EFFECT: Increases Near General Fund-State by $13,814,534.
