On page 387, line 9, increase the general fund-state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 by $2,000,000
On page 387, line 23, correct the total.
On page 393, after line 20, insert the following:
"(q) $2,000,000 of the general-fund state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 is provided solely for implementation of Initiative 26-638 (equity in interscholastic sports) to ensure equal opportunities for girls in interscholastic athletics, and to protect spaces utilized by female student athletes. If the initiative is not enacted by June 30, 2027, the amount provided in this subsection shall lapse."
| EFFECT: Provides funding for OSPI to implement Initiative 26-638 (Equity in Interscholastic Sports) to ensure equal opportunities for girls in interscholastic athletics and to protect spaces utilized by female student athletes.
FISCAL IMPACT: Increases General Fund - State by $2,000,000.
FOUR-YEAR OUTLOOK EXPENDITURE EFFECT: Increases Near General Fund-State by $2,000,000.
