On page 2, at the beginning of line 39 of the striking amendment, beginning with "Individual" strike all material through "system" on page 3, line 3 and insert "((Individual health care coverage, small employer health care coverage, health benefit plan administration, health care finance and economics, actuarial science, or administering a public or private health care delivery system)) Health carrier operations, health plan administration, provider network development, federal health policy, public finance, IT and digital platforms, or data and quality measurement"

EFFECT: Modifies the experience and expertise requirements for some of the nominees for members of the Health Benefit Exchange Board so that the nominees must have demonstrated experience and acknowledged expertise in at least one of the following fields: Health carrier operations, health plan administration, provider network development, federal health policy, public finance, IT and digital platforms, or data and quality measurement (rather than individual health coverage, small employer health care coverage, health plan administration, health care finance and economics, actuarial sciences, or administering a public or private health care delivery system).
