On page 12, beginning on line 24 of the striking amendment, after "is" strike all material through "returns" on line 25 and insert "$2,000,000 if filing jointly"

EFFECT: Applies the $1,000,000 standard deduction to the individual, not the household, resulting in a combined standard deduction of $2,000,000 for state registered domestic partners and persons who are married.
