On page 9, line 6, after "(2)" insert "As it relates to the renewal of a permit to purchase firearms pursuant to section 2 of this act, the live-fire component of subsection (1)(i) of this section must be completed within the last 10 years.

Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Requires, as it relates to the renewal of a permit to purchase, the firearms safety training program include a live-fire component within the last 10 years, rather than every five years.
