On page 6, line 1, after "(5)" insert "(a)"
On page 6, after line 3, insert the following:
"(b) The department of labor and industries shall post the inspection results on its website and in a conspicuous place viewable by detained persons and visitors to private detention facilities. Results should be posted in English and in languages spoken by detainees, to the extent practicable."
On page 7, at the beginning of line 8, strike "As resources allow, the" and insert "The"
On page 7, line 12, after "internet" insert "in accordance with the requirements of RCW
70.395.050 and section 4 of this act"
EFFECT: Requires inspection results from the Department of Labor and Industries to be posted on its website and in a conspicuous place viewable by detained persons and visitors. Provides that results should be posted in English and in languages spoken by detainees, to the extent practicable. Removes language providing, as resources allow, that inspection statement of deficiencies, plans of correction, and other notices and enforcement actions be made publicly available on the internet by the Department of Health. Provides that these statements and notices be made available to the public in accordance with the requirements of other sections in the bill.
