On page 5, line 14, after "motions." insert "If the court imposes a sanction for, and a person or entity is found guilty of, contempt of court, the court may not impose imprisonment."
On page 5, line 34, after "motions." insert "If the court imposes a sanction for, and a person or entity is found guilty of, contempt of court, the court may not impose imprisonment."
EFFECT: Prohibits a court from imposing imprisonment if a person or entity is found guilty of contempt of court for failure to comply with a civil investigative demand.
