On page 289, line 35, decrease the General Fund-private/local appropriation by $26,000.

Adjust the total appropriation accordingly.

On page 296, after line 37, insert the following:

"(35) During the 2025-27 biennium, the department shall charge no more than $998 annually for new or renewed licenses for birthing centers as defined in RCW 18.46.010."

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Limits the fee the Department of Health may charge for new or renewed licenses for birthing centers in the 2025-27 biennium to $998.
