On page 89, after line 2, insert the following:
"(11) $10,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 is provided solely for implementation of Senate Bill No. 5889 (PFML/public supp. benefits). If the bill is not enacted by June 30, 2026, the amount provided in this subsection shall lapse."
EFFECT: Provides funding for the implementation of Senate Bill No. 5889, which limits the amount of pay that a public employee can be paid when using employer-provided paid leave concurrently with benefits paid under the paid family and medical leave program to no more than the employee's salary or average hourly rate.
