Adjust the total appropriation accordingly.
On page 435, line 36, after "and" strike "(($105,389,000))$53,037,000" and insert "$105,389,000"
On page 436, line 2, after "and" strike "(($250))$150" and insert "$250"
On page 448, line 33, increase the General Fund—State Appropriation (FY 2027) by $31,553,000
Adjust the total appropriation accordingly.
On page 449, beginning on line 3, after "enrollment" strike all material through "Of" on line 4 and insert "of"
On page 449, beginning on line 5, after "children" strike all material through "2026-27" on line 7 and insert "per school year"
EFFECT: (1) Reduces appropriation for the Department of Children, Youth, and Families Early Learning Program by modifying Section 3 of Senate Bill No. 6365 (Working conn. child care) from "up to 15 days" to "up to 10 days."
(2) Removes the reduction to the Local Effort Assistance enhancement in FY 2027.
(3) Increases funding to allow for enrollment of 7,266 annual average full-time equivalent eligible children in the Transition to Kindergarten Program.
