On page 474, line 10, increase the General Fund—State Appropriation (FY 2027) by $2,000,000
Adjust the total appropriation accordingly.
On page 479, after line 5, insert the following:
"(32) $2,000,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 is provided solely for the continuation of the nursing program at Yakima."
On page 484, line 5, decrease the General Fund—State Appropriation (FY 2027) by $2,000,000
Adjust the total appropriation accordingly.
EFFECT: • Provides funding for the continuation of the Washington State University nursing program at Yakima in FY 2027.
• Reduces funding provided in FY 2027 to The Evergreen State College to restore a reduction made in the 2025-27 biennial operating budget to reduce the Near General Fund State amount per resident student closer to the average of the regional institutions of higher education.
EXPENDITURE EFFECT (2025-2027): $0 Near General Fund—State/$0 Total Funds.
FOUR-YEAR OUTLOOK EXPENDITURE EFFECT: $0 Near General Fund—State.
