On page 522, after line 31, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 730. A new section is added to 2025 c 424 (uncodified) to read as follows:
WASHINGTON MANAGEMENT SERVICES REDUCTION
General Fund—State Appropriation (FY 2027) | . . . . | ($49,000,000) |
TOTAL APPROPRIATION | . . . . | ($49,000,000) |
The appropriation in this section is subject to the following conditions and limitations: The office of financial management must reduce allotments for state agencies by $49,000,000 from the state general fund for fiscal year 2027 in this act to reflect an ongoing 10 percent reduction in the number of Washington management service positions."
Renumber the remaining section consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
EFFECT: Savings are achieved by reducing Washington Management System employees statewide by 10 percent. The Office of Financial Management will allocate the reduction to achieve the total reduction to the general fund—state.
