On page 14, after line 33, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION.  Sec. 4. A new section is added to chapter 74.13 RCW to read as follows:
The department shall document and annually report on the department's public website the number of cases in which a child was returned to the home following a shelter care hearing under RCW 13.34.065 over a documented objection by the department, a guardian ad litem, or a court-appointed special advocate."

On page 1, line 5 of the title, after "13.34.110;" insert "adding a new section to chapter 74.13 RCW;"
EFFECT: Requires that the Department of Children, Youth, and Families report on its public website the number of cases in which a child was returned to the home following a shelter care hearing over a documented objection by the DCYF, a guardian ad litem, or a court-appointed special advocate.
