On page 5, line 5, after "through" strike "311" and insert "312"

On page 10, after line 34, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 312. PROFESSIONAL ATHLETIC PERFORMANCES.In computing a taxpayer's Washington taxable income, professional athletes and professional coaches may deduct from their Washington base income, the amount of compensation, including bonuses, attributable to athletic performances performed in a county with a population of 1,000,000 or more."

Renumber the remaining section consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Exempts professional athletes from the tax if in-state athletic performances are performed in a county with population of one million or more.
