On page 34, beginning on line 34, after "subsection" strike all material through "subsection" on line 37 and insert "((; and if the tax is not received on or before the last day of the second month following the due date, there is assessed a total penalty of 29 percent of the amount of the tax under this subsection))"
EFFECT: Eliminates the 29 percent penalty for the underpayment or nonpayment of taxes.
