AN ACT Relating to in-service training; and making an appropriation.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. The sum of one million five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 1987, from the general fund to the superintendent of public instruction to provide funds to school districts for the in-service training program under this section. The in-service training program shall be designed to provide three days of training to a state-wide average of three individuals per school in techniques to identify and improve current levels of academic efficiency and of effective classroom management. The individuals selected shall include teachers, administrators, and teachers aides.
