AN ACT Relating to election crimes; and adding a new section to chapter 29.85 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 29.85 RCW to read as follows:

          Any person who wilfully prevents or delays or who wilfully attempts to prevent or delay the delivery of election materials to a polling place or the delivery of election materials, including but not limited to voted ballots, from a polling place to the office of the county auditor is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
