AN ACT Relating to foreign commercial fishing vessels; and adding a new section to chapter 75.12 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 75.12 RCW to read as follows:

          It is unlawful for a vessel to deliver salmon for sale unless it shall have either:

          (1) A department issued vessel registration and a license or permit decal; or

          (2) Stowed all fishing gear below deck or placed it in a position where it shall not be readily available for fishing.
