AN ACT Relating to insurance coverage; and adding a new section to chapter 48.01 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 48.01 RCW to read as follows:

          Insurance regulated under this title shall not exclude coverage of equipment or treatment on the grounds that the equipment or treatment did not flow from a certificate of need if the equipment or treatment was exempt from the certificate of need procedure.
