AN ACT Relating to urban arterial programs; and adding a new section to chapter 47.26 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 47.26 RCW to read as follows:

          If, upon reviewing a city or county's revised six-year program, the board determines the city or county has failed to comply with the requirements of this chapter, or rules adopted by the board pursuant thereto, the board shall reject the city or county's plan.  A plan that has been rejected shall not be included in the board's construction program or recommended budget for that biennium.
