AN ACT Relating to courts; and creating a new section.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  (1) The state shall assume fiscal and operational responsibility for all trial and appellate courts of the state, including district and superior court, by January 1, 1988.

          (2) By July 1, 1986, the commission on judicial administration established by section 601, chapter 258, Laws of 1984 shall submit to the legislature administrative and legislative recommendations to implement subsection (1) of this section.
