AN ACT Relating to public works contract claims; and adding a new section to chapter 39.04 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 39.04 RCW to read as follows:

          Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary in a public works contract, any party to a public works contract shall have the right to judicial review upon the merits by the appropriate county superior court of any decision by any authority empowered by the contract to make a determination on claims or disputes involving said public works contract.
