AN ACT Relating to equipment requirements for combination vehicles; and adding a new section to chapter 46.37 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.     A new section is added to chapter 46.37 RCW to read as follows:

          Any commercial vehicle combination licensed for a gross weight of ten thousand pounds or more shall have on the back of the last vehicle in the combination a placard indicating the number of cargo-carrying units in the combination.  The commission on equipment shall develop standards regarding the characteristics and placement of these placards.
