AN ACT Relating to venue for actions under the residential landlord-tenant act; and adding a new section to chapter 59.18 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 59.18 RCW to read as follows:

          Venue for any action arising under this chapter shall be in the district or superior court of the county in which the premises are located.
