AN ACT Relating to the official state "rock-n-roll" song; and adding a new section to chapter 1.20 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 1.20 RCW to read as follows:

          The "rock-n-roll" song "Louie, Louie," with new lyrics as originally composed by Richard Berry specifically applicable to our state, is hereby designated as the official "rock-n-roll" song of the state of Washington.
