                              SYNOPSIS AS ENACTED

 

BACKGROUND:

 

In the 1987 session, the Legislature passed enabling legislation for the Schools for the Twenty-First Century Pilot Program.  Rules governing the application procedure for this project were adopted at the December, 1987, meeting of the State Board of Education.  By law, all applications must be received no later than March 31, 1988.  As a result, districts have only three months to develop their proposals.

 

SUMMARY:

 

The date for receipt of applications for the Schools for the Twenty-First Century Pilot Program is changed from March 31, 1988, to May 31, 1988.
