BACKGROUND:

Currently, only the governor may have a designee attend and participate in meetings of the Board of Natural Resources.

SUMMARY:

The Superintendent of Public Instruction may select a designee to attend and participate in meetings of the Board of Natural Resources.  The designee shall be an individual holding the position of Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction.
