BACKGROUND:
Since January 1, 1968 all vehicle license plates have been treated with reflectorized materials designed to increase visibility and legibility at night. Currently the Department of Licensing, under its authority to set specifications for the manufacturing of license plates, requires all license plates to be fully reflectorized.
SUMMARY:
Vehicle license plates are required to be fully reflectorized.
