BACKGROUND:

 

Current law allows for health and safety regulations of swimming pools at multifamily housing facilities but does not specify that instructions for cardiopulmonary resuscitation be posted.

 

SUMMARY:

 

Owners of multifamily housing facilities that include a swimming pool are required to conspicuously post instructions for performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
