BACKGROUND:
Users and dealers of special fuel are required by law to file periodic fuel tax reports on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or yearly basis, depending on the user's estimated yearly tax liabilities.
To conform with the Consensus Agenda of the National Governor's Association, the current provisions of the frequency of fuel tax reporting must be modified.
SUMMARY:
Semi-yearly and monthly special fuel tax reports are eliminated for special fuel users.
Fiscal Note: Available.
