AN ACT Relating to the sale of clove cigarettes; adding a new section chapter 70.54 RCW; and prescribing penalties.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 70.54 RCW to read as follows:

          (1) No person shall knowingly sell or offer for sale any cigarette that contains ground cloves or clove oil.

          (2) Any person who violates this act is guilty of a misdemeanor.
