AN ACT Relating to the Maple Street toll bridge in Spokane; and creating a new section.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.     The department of transportation shall develop optional plans for removing tolls on the Maple Street bridge in Spokane.  As part of this study, the department shall determine to what extent federal funds are available.  The department shall submit the optional plans to the legislative transportation committee by December 15, 1988.  These plans shall also address the date for implementing removal of the toll.
