AN ACT Relating to flood control zones; and adding a new section to chapter 86.16 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 86.16 RCW to read as follows:

          The planning, construction, operation, maintenance, reconstruction, and modification of any works, structures, or improvements, private or public, within class AA counties are exempt from the requirements of this chapter.
