AN ACT Relating to livestock; and adding a new section to chapter 16.24 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 16.24 RCW to read as follows:

          In any civil action brought by the owner, driver, or occupant of a motor vehicle, or by their personal representative or assignees, or by the owner of livestock, for damages which are caused by a collision between any motor vehicle and livestock on a highway, there is no presumption or inference that the collision was due to the negligence of the owner or person in possession of the livestock.
