AN ACT Relating to net fishing for bottomfish; and adding a new section to chapter 75.12 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 75.12 RCW to read as follows:

          It is unlawful to fish for or take food fish, commonly known as bottomfish or groundfish, commercially with bottom trawling gear, by any citizen, Indian or non-Indian, in Hood Canal south of the Hood Canal floating bridge and in Puget Sound south of a line drawn eastward from Point No Point to Possession Point on Whidbey Island and then northeasterly to Mukilteo.
