AN ACT Relating to firearms; and adding a new section to chapter 9.41 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 9.41 RCW to read as follows:

          It is unlawful for any person to buy, sell, trade, possess, or otherwise dispose of any shotgun with a barrel length of less than eighteen inches or overall length of less than twenty-six inches or a rifle with a barrel length of less than sixteen inches or an overall length of less than twenty-six inches.
