AN ACT Relating to hindering logging activities; adding a new section to chapter 9A.48 RCW; and prescribing penalties.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 9A.48 RCW to read as follows:

          A person who places an object in a tree or log for the purpose of hindering logging or timber harvesting activities is guilty of a gross misdemeanor and, in addition, is liable for any property damage or personal injuries caused thereby.
