AN ACT Relating to adverse possession; and adding a new section to chapter 7.28 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 7.28 RCW to read as follows:

          In an action under this chapter for adverse possession, the court shall award any prevailing defendant his or her reasonable attorneys' fees.
