AN ACT Relating to port district park and recreation facilities; and amending RCW 53.08.260.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

        Sec. 1.  Section 1, chapter 81, Laws of 1965 and RCW 53.08.260 are each amended to read as follows:

          A port district may construct, improve, maintain, and operate public park and recreation facilities when such facilities are necessary to more fully utilize boat landings, harbors, wharves and piers, air, land, and water passenger and transfer terminals, waterways, and other port facilities ((authorized by law pursuant to the port's comprehensive plan of harbor improvements and industrial development)) or properties.
