                              SYNOPSIS AS ENACTED

 

BACKGROUND:

 

A sunset review of the Board of Pharmacy, conducted by the Legislative Budget Committee in 1989, recommended that the agency be continued.

 

The Legislative Budget Committee also recommended that the Interdepartmental Coordinating Committee on Drug Misuse, Diversion, and Abuse be abolished.

 

SUMMARY:

 

The powers and duties of the State Board of Pharmacy are reauthorized.

 

The Interdepartmental Coordinating Committee is repealed.
