REMARKS BY MS. DEVANNI PARTRIDGE
Devanni Partridge: “Thank you. I am so honored to be here and to have the opportunity to just express my thanks and let you all know how proud I am to be Miss Washington. I fly out next Wednesday to Las Vegas to compete in the Miss America pageant and I can’t think of a better state to go and represent. I’m hoping to become the first Miss Washington in the eighty-eight year history to wear the Miss America crown. That’s my dream, I would love bring that back to Washington and if you want to tune in and watch that happen, it will be on January 30th. I would love to have you tune in and watch that and be a part of this really exciting adventure that I’m on. Thank you so much for having me and for what you do in the state of Washington.”
INTRODUCTION OF SPECIAL GUESTS
The President welcomed and introduced John Partridge, the father of Devanni and her cousin Diane who were seated in the gallery.
